Use the right hoses and connectors to get the most efficient use out of your appliance.

Determine whether you have a high pressure or low pressure appliance. Most portable appliances are high pressure; built-in appliances and gas grills are normally low pressure.



	High pressure appliances are designed to operate directly from a disposable cylinder. If used with a bulk tank they must be connected without going through a low pressure regulator. High pressure appliances generally have 1” – 20 or 9/16” – 18 connectors. Most portable appliances are high pressure.
	Tank unions or hose assemblies with fittings are used for single high pressure appliance hookups. Straight tank unions connect a Coleman or Primus camp stove hose which uses a disposable cylinder to a bulk tank.

	90 degree tank unions connect the horizontal outlet of a bulk tank to a mini heater or lantern that normally uses disposable cylinders.

	Hose assemblies with fittings connect an appliance that uses a disposable cylinder; or a Coleman or Primus camp stove hose that uses a disposable cylinder to a bulk tank.

	An easy-to-use conversion kit converts a 2 or 3 burner Coleman gasoline stove to propane.



	Splitters, distribution post, and hoses allow for connections of multiple appliance, which normally use disposable cylinders, to one bulk tank.
	A distribution post connects up to three appliances which use disposable cylinders to a bulk tank.

	A splitter adds an additional port to your system. Choose the correct splitter based on hose and tank connections.

	Multi-accessory hose connects an appliance that uses disposable cylinders to a distribution post or splitter for multiple hookups.



	Low pressure appliances operate through a low pressure regulator (set at 11” water column pressure). These appliances generally have 3/8” connectors. Built-in appliances and gas grills are normally low pressure.

	Hose assemblies including regulators are available to connect low pressure appliances to a bulk tank. The regulators and hoses are also sold separately.

	Quick connectors – disconnect appliances from tank without tools or wrenches. Choose the quick connector based on hose and tank connections.
